Retirement and Pre-Retirement Advice Available to all Members

The GBEA Financial Planning Program, provided by Financial Consulting Services, continues to offer retirement and pre-retirement consulting through Dick Feldhausen, former GBEA Executive Director. 

Dick is available to provide retirement and pre-retirement counseling to teachers, paraprofessionals and other employees who are part of the Wisconsin Retirement System.  The normal fee for Dick’s services is $100.  WEAC, NEA, GBEA and GBAPIE members will receive a 50% discount, making the fee $50. This fee will be waived for members who are investment clients of Financial Consulting Services.

To get a comprehensive analysis you need to bring your most recent ETF Annual Statement dated January 1, 2009, your most recent social security statement (received 3 months prior to birthday), and a recent pay check stub. Dick will explain the state retirement system and the negotiated benefits available to potential retirees.
